Mirth connet GUI is not getting open

I am new to this mirth connect, when i am trying open the mirth connect GUI its not getting opened but to look in to the system process the mirth connect service is running with out any issues. Kindly advice me what i need to do to resolve this issue.

Appending to a File - Apache Commons IO 2.0 vs 2.1

I've got an instance of Mirth 2.1 running where I'd like one specific channel to write out to a log file as it processes through a message. I was going to use org.apache.commons.io.FileUtils.writeStringToFile to do this but it looks like Mirth 2.1 uses the 2.0 version of Apache Commons IO and this version of the function doesn't support appending to an existing file.

I know Mirth 2.2 has the 2.1 version of Apache Commons IO and that supports appending to a file but I'd rather not have to do a full Mirth upgrade just to get this one function upgraded.

Does anyone else know what function I can use on Mirth 2.1 to append to an existing file?

I am a little new to the sending an email attachment in the SMTP sender. How can I send the same file I am reading in my file reader as an outgoing attachment? I am having no luck when I try. It is just a small text file I am pulling through sftp that is not even being transformed. I am writing some html in my outgoing email body and I would like to attach that file to the outgoing message. Thank you for any assistance!!!!

have two issues that should be easy however, i can seem to get it right.

1. processing repeating segments
my Hl7 message has two OBR each having a following OBX my code is looping twice however the file write is OBR and OBX number 1.
2. the second issue is my append is adding quotes.

Mirth Command CLI - Execute from DOS

Is there a way to execute commands into mccommand.exe from the DOS prompt ?

I would like to automate a a process that shuts down channels, renames files, and restarts the channels.

I could use something like WinBatch to call up mccommand and send commends to the window, but I would prefer just creating 1 batch file and executing it.

LLP Sender - Connection Refused

I have a mirth channel that has a destination LLP sender to Centricity Perinatal. I have the timeout set to 5000ms.

The channel (one of about 8) errors out trying to send messages to CPN. It sends messages successfully most of the time, but then goes through periods where it fails due to an LLP connection error where it seems the receiving facility (CPN) is refusing the connection.

GE support remarked that they expect the sending connection to always remain open. It doesn't appear there is an option in mirth to configure the connection in that manner.

Is there a way to keep the socket open all the time? Am I understanding GE Support right? I'm not a network guru, but I've not dealt with socket connections that always remain open, streaming constantly. That sounds like a horrible resource management strategy.

Any recommendations as to what I could do to make this work better?

HL7 to Custom XML Mapping

Hello!

I am relatively new to Mirth and am having some issues with mapping HL7 to a custom XML which we have developed. I understand how to do the mapping using the transformer and message templates.

My problem is that I only want my custom xml to show fields that have been populated by the HL7 via the transformer, not the empty fields. Is there a way to do that in Mirth Connect?

Please advise.

channel history plugin not creating table

I just installed the channel history plugin. I restarted the mirth service. Now when I try to modify a channel and save changes I am getting the error pasted below. I am using Mirth Connect version 2.1.1.5488, history plugin version 2.1.1.b781, and a POSTGRES backend version 9.04. It looks like the plugin is not creating the channel_snapshot table like it should. Any ideas?

How to create a repeating xml node in source

In my source connector I'm reading multiple rows from a db. I want to create one xml message that contains all the data.

So I want it to look something like this:

converting ORU messages to flat file

Working on a new channel to receive inbound lab results and write out to a flat file company standardize format (to be created). I'm having a hard time with the flat file design. Wondering if anyone has a channel with similar concept of taking something that repeats (ORM OBX) and writing it to file that they wouldn't mind sharing. Thanks.

I am creating a Mirth channel that pulls in a file that is created by a shell script. The file contains the data pulled from performing a df (disk free space) in unix. I am wanting to send an email if it is higher than 75%. I have this part figured out, but I am having problems with the email part of it.

How can I send a single email to more than 1 person?

Also, I would like to just send a copy of the file I pulled for the email body. Any ideas on this? I am thinking I would have to copy the file and send it in the email?
