Tables in Mirth 3.6.1

I am using Mirth 3.6.1. What is the importance/significance of metadata_id in "d_ms" table (Mirth DB) ? I can see the metadata_id having multiple values ([null],0,1,2) for a channel. what do these values signify off ? Also can there be more values as such ? Any help would be appreciated.

destination meta id's for each channels' destinations.

@stormcel, can you please elaborate more on this ? There are multiple values ([null],0,1,2), and these seem to be distinctive with respect to source and destination connectors.

If you view the destinations in the channel editor, the Id column is the destination meta id to which he's referring. 0 is always the source connector. I don't know which situations would produce a null value.

Hello,

If 0 is Source then probably 1 is Type and 2 is Version. The Null values can be probably set when in that specific channel there is no created metadata column by user.
But this is me assuming! It is a matter of test and check.

0 is always the source connector.
Destination1 (D1) is 1, D2 is 2 and so on.
If a destination is deleted the metadataId is also deleted. The next one will be +1 to last metadata id, and not replacement.

That's normally true, but you can reorder your destinations or create and delete some and there will be gaps in the numbers. You have to look at the destination tab of the channel at the Id column to know for sure which destination corresponds to each metadata_id.
