Mirth Connect Server Manager - Unable to Save Log4j.properties
Just installed Mirth Connect 3.4.2 on a Mac. The Mirth Connect Server Manager is running. I press OK and it says, "Error saving to file /Applications/Mirth Connect/conf/log4j.properties". This is after a shutdown reboot of the Mac.

Same Issue here. I assume that the application doesn't have write permissions on these files.

I think in order for the application to save it's properties those files need to be writeable by the user, in this case 'I am not root.' (lol)

But maybe if I ran the app as root instead things might go better...
Set the sticky bit somewhere???

Or is this an artifact of the a java app not being able to run as root who owns the files?

On a Mac the installer puts the application in the Applications folder.
The app tries to write to that folder and has no permissions.
The app works if you move the entire Application folder into the users folder and run the app from there.
