Understood. I did make a small tweak to the update about 20 minutes ago which I hope might resolve your issue, but I can't know for sure without looking at the logs for your specific Appliance.

Aside from changing or blanking the notification email address and SMTP relay host under the Mail configuration, there isn't a way to turn off alerts.
