When I tested it it did work. File 1 was not transformed but file 2 was. on the dashboard you have to click on the second destination message and then on the encoded message tab to see the change.

No. but you can move the code to the transformer for the second destination. It should work there as well. Either way I modified the channel to only apply the change on the second destination.
