I got hung up on wanting to see the value being processed as a date. Indeed the underlying code has the info, and my next steps (not shown in the example transformer) are able to get what I need....

I'll have to keep an eye out and find one that works - I go several days sometimes between getting on systems. Lost track of which does work. But this one on win server 2008 definitely not behaving...

Sometimes nice to have different ways in one place if you are looking for examples. Granted, the meat here is just a couple lines within the if{} statments, but for newbies, clarity = 1000 x less...

So I send an HL7 query to PACS from Connect, the PACS will respond with a QAK (response has the query results matched by the PACS. It won't send an ACK unfortunately.
