SFTP reader connection issue

I am looking to get some assistance setting up a channel that will be pulling from an SFTP location. We have a site that has given us an sftp address, folder name, username and password where they will be dropping daily reports. We will be polling that location grabbing the files and processing them into our application.
I am able to connect to this sftp address using winscp on my machine with no problem, but through my file reader with sftp as the method I can not successfully test read that location.
Am I missing something within the channel that needs to be set to access an SFTP file location?

I don't think there is anything specific that needs to be done. I have a channel where we are sending files through SFTP to another company's server, and out of curiosity, I just created a new channel with the same server/folder/username/password as the source(SFTP) and I was able to use the 'Test Read' button without any issues.

I know you have access to the SFTP folder, but does the account have the correct rights to READ files from there as well?
