I currently do this; I have 2.1.1, 2.2.0, and 2.2.1 instances up on my laptop for testing purposes. The best way to do this is to create separate schemas for each instance (e.g. mirthdb211, mirthdb220, mirthdb221). In your configuration of each instance, make sure to use different ports for the web portal, Administrator portal, and JMX services. It's also important to note that in this configuration, it's probably a good idea not
to use a dedicated service/daemon, or the Mirth Connect Server Manager. This is because the server manager appears to be hardcoded to reference the "Mirth Connect Service" service/daemon. You could
designate one of the instances as your "main" one, and then configure the service/daemon as needed, if you really wanted to use the server manager.
