separate log file for mirth channel - mirth connect

Hi

I would like to keep separate log files for each channel(instead of relying on mirth.log).

what is best way to do this in mirth?

I am thinking of writing a global script that will accept channel name(to be used as file name) and log message.

any pointers/ideas highly appreciated.

Instead of the channel name, the channel ID is probably the safer way to go, since the name can change, but the ID won't. What sort of logs are you keeping?

mostly INFO type logging - time taken to complete soap rquest/response, certain keys/IDs etc.

too many channels running so just mirth.log is not enough.
