Post Connections Remain Open for SFTP

I am having issue with a group of connections that I have on Mirth, continues to say that when we connect to their SFTP from Mirth, Mirth is not letting go of that connection and we only have 10 allowable connections with them
and we have 14 channels. I thought it was the 2.1.1 version issue, but we moved them back to 2.0.1, and the same thing happened.

We are using Mirth Connect Administrator 2.1.1.5490.

I have attached both of the channels for review. Any assistance would be great! Please email me directly at jackie.schwabe@integratedmp.com too so that I know to check the forum status.

Default Answered own Question.

The S/FTP connector uses connection pooling to manage connections to the server. So, while the connection is released once the files have been read in, it is maintained so that it can be reused for the next poll. This reduces the overhead of having to recreate the connection each time. The connection will be closed only when the channel is stopped or the Mirth Server is shutdown.
