Default Destination Directory Interpolation

Hey All,

I'm using an old example from leakymllp and running into an issue when trying to get Javascript variables to be interpolated in the Destination directory.

The example is using two javascript snippets/variables:
/mirth/results_pdf/${date.get(‘yyyyMMdd’)}/${OrderingProvider}/
where ${date.get(‘yyyyMMdd’)} → Will append the date (as in 20100818) to the end of the specified filesystem location and {OrderingProvider} → Appends the value of the Channel Map variable OrderingProvider which we set in the Source Transformer to the end of the filesystem location.

Neither piece is being interpolated and all I'm getting in the directory name is the raw text. The directory name looks like
C:\test\out\results_pdf\${date.get(`yyyyMMdd')}\${ OrderingProvider}>

The file name is being interpolated just fine. For example LabResult-${SYSTIME}.pdf becomes LabResult-1379982237951.pdf when a message is sent.

So what's changed and/or what am I doing wrong?

Any help is much appreciated!

Ken

The issue is that you have the U+2019 and U+2019 curly single quotes (‘ and ’) instead of the standard U+0027 ('). Change that and it should work.

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

- How do I foo?
- You just bar.
