Default Cannot open channels

Our mirth server is failing at the moment. When I take a look and try to open one of the channels it is giving me the following error shown in my attachment. This is a production issue and I was wondering if there is a fix for this or if I should simply recommend a restart of the server that mirth lives on? Thanks!

That sounds like you've used Java 8 on 3.0.0 or 3.0.1. http://www.mirthcorp.com/community/w...m+Requirements

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

Thanks Nick! As a follow up, I was suspecting it was some sort of Java error as well. According to our Linux server I find that our version is in line with the requirements:

[root@MHC-P-Mirth1 logs]# java -version
java version "1.7.0_79"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (rhel-2.5.5.1.el6_6-x86_64 u79-b14)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.79-b02, mixed mode)

So I decided to do a restart after killing the java services:

sudo killall java
cd /opt/mirthconnect
sudo ./mcservice start

FYI OpenJDK is not officially supported... only the Oracle/Sun JRE.
