Question Plans post Oracle discontinues Java browser plugin

As some of you may know, Oracle has plans to discontinue its Java browser plugin. Per their website, "The company, however, will start curtailing the plugin technology in JDK 9"

May I know whats the plan for Mirth to support it? Is there any decision made on when and in which version would the upgrade be available?

The latest mirth version already has java 9/10 support, as they haven't ditched the plugin yet. I assume by the time java 11 is released there will be a separate client installer to download (possibly hosted by the server) rather than using webstart.

The proposed alternative by Oracle to webstart is jlink.

Mirth supports version 9, however "The Java plug-in, the Java Applet Viewer, JNLP and Java Web Start including the javaws tool are all deprecated in JDK 9 and will be removed in a future release"
Wanted to understand if the dependency would be removed in a specific Mirth version !!Has there been any decisions already made?
