Default Multiple IN1 Segments in ADT messages

I am probably missing something quite basic here, but can't figure it out on my own. I am reading an ADT message from a file and sending to a SQL database. I have multiple IN1 segments (typically for a primary and secondary insurance carrier). Is there a way to map these easily or do I have to create some sort of filter for these? Both IN1 1 and IN1 2 show as : ADT_A01.INSURANCE in the HL7 tree which is creating confusion. Messages with a single IN1 segment work, but those with two IN1 segments do not go into database.
Thanks,
Andrea
