Default Remove Double Quotes from PV1.8

Im trying to write a Javascript transformer step that will clear out values of two double quotes ("") in PV1.8; but if PV1.8 is populated with anything else, it needs to remain unchanged. I see other similar threads, just not sure about leaving it unchanged when there are values other than quotes, or doing it at the pre-processor. Were on version 1.8 (planning to upgrade soon). Thanks!

You can do that with a Message Builder step:

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

- How do I foo?
- You just bar.
