Default Looking for X12 Sample messages

I'm trying to dig up some X12 sample messages. Does anyone know of a good source for them? Anyone have some samples to share?

Try: http://pyx12.svn.sourceforge.net/vie...12/test/files/
We use their XML files for vocabulary in X12.

Excellent! Thank you Chris.

PS. My team keeps learning things that Mirth can do and we keep getting more excited about it. HTTP Sender + Ruby on Rails = deployment in 2-3 days

Jon,

Excellent! Yes, I'm constantly amazed with the things the interface guys are doing - think HTTP Listener and custom responses, essentially a specialized health-care webserver that serves up patient data requests from a database. Amazing stuff in just a few lines of Javascript...

hey Guys,
I am in the same boat. i wanted to see if there are samples to use. I looked at the link posted but I could not find the xml files and was not sure how they would be implemented. I think using the Mirth with X12 is such a HUGE advantage and will be very powerful. But, unfortunatly without a sample to proof the concept to management, I am stuck. (I still would have a poster on my door that says OPEN SOURCE ROCKS!!!!!

The thread is from my own proof-of-concept work a few months back. Lemme dig around and see if I saved my samples. I ended up Googling around for a bit (searching on ANSI X12 sample)and found some. The problem I ran into is that the X12 spec has so many different message variants that my team didn't know which one to use.

What X12 Transaction Set message example(s) are you looking for, e.g. 835, Health Care Claim Payment/Advice and 837 Health Care Claim?

Fellas,

I'm a noob to X12, my employer, and our dev language...so I'm really interested in any guidance. We are looking to add X12 EDI 810 connections to a Ruby On Rails subscription application. The samples posted are great but I'm looking for a little more hand holding. Any suggestions for a noob?

Thanks!
