Default Message colors

Hello everyone..

Does anyone know what all of the colors represent in a message being viewed in the Channel Messages browser?

Specifically, I see that all characters after a '#' symbol turn yellow, until the next segment.

Does this have any sort of negative effect on Mirth processing the message?

Thanks for any input!

J

The syntax highlighter used for HL7 messages is based off of one for code, so it is treating anything after the # as a comment. It is just highlighting though and will not affect the message processing. I went ahead an opened an issue for this:
