Certainly possible, yes. Those documents are, after all, just XML. If you have a good understanding of the specifications then you can build a transformer to make all the necessary mappings, etc., and convert whatever you want into a CCD/CDA/CCDA document.

We do also develop and provide a CDAPI library specifically for creating/parsing CDA documents within Mirth Connect, to certain support customers.

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

You could also setup a small webserver on your mirth box that ran bluebutton.js that you could pass JSON to that would generate the XML if you don't have a Mirth support contract.
