Default HTTP Sender error (Read timed out) not being alerted

hello

I'm getting this error:

HTTP Sender error
ERROR MESSAGE: Error connecting to HTTP server
java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

I guess the destination is not listening at the moment, but the thing is that I have an Alert over that channel, with "Any" error covered (sending me an email if encounter one) but it's not 'getting' that kind of error... If I force another error (a bad query, for example), the alert triggers correctly.

thanks

I can't see any reason why an alert event wouldn't be sent, what version are you on?

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

- How do I foo?
- You just bar.

I tried creating another event, with "timed out" in the RegExp field, and it worked.

however, the first one should work =(
