Question No current row in the ResultSet on all channels after upgrade

Hi everyone, I'm having a problem on all of our (previously working) channels, after upgrading a 3.0.3 version to 3.1.1. DB is MSSQL.

This happens on all channels when polling: com.mirth.connect.donkey.server.data.DonkeyDaoExce ption: java.sql.SQLException: No current row in the ResultSet.

var result = dbConn.executeCachedQuery(query);

result.size() shows 5000, as it should. It's clearly pulling in Something, but for some reason it is crashing later on.
Doing result.first() before returning it in the source query seems to make no difference.

Has anyone seen this before?

Hmm, it doesn't look like it's having a problem querying with your Database Reader, but rather it's running into problems on the backend database when querying the next value from the message sequence. Are there any logs on the SQL Server side when this happens?

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

I'm not sure it's on the backend- I dropped all of the Mirth tables (after backup), and did a clean install- I imported a few channels, and it worked fine, but after importing more eventually it started throwing the same errors.

It seems to be something stored in the DB itself that is causing these problems. We have another instance of Mirth pointing to another DB on the same server, but different channels, and it works without problems.

Do you still think it is a backend issue?

Well from the stacktrace it certainly looks like a backend database problem. For some reason the D_MSQ* tables don't have anything populated in them when that getNextMessageId method runs, hence the error you see.
