Default Client API and GET message

Using the client API I'm able to do perform a textSearch on a string but not able to perform a metaDataSearch. Is this a bug or do I not have the metaDataSearch field entered correctly as in my attached image?

textSearch (working)

Response Body

metaDataSearch (not working)

That is indeed a bug, thanks for finding it! I've created an issue for it: MIRTH-4129

To work around it in the meantime, you could use the POST /channels/{channelId}/messages/_search endpoint instead. In that case you would have to use an XML serialized MessageFilter object, something like this:

Code:
<messageFilter>
    <metaDataSearch>
        <metaDataSearchCriteria>
            <columnName>SOURCE</columnName>
            <operator>CONTAINS</operator>
            <value class="string">SH</value>
            <ignoreCase>false</ignoreCase>
        </metaDataSearchCriteria>
    </metaDataSearch>
</messageFilter>

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

- How do I foo?
- You just bar.
