Consider an HL7 v2.3 PID segment. PID-19 has this value:
Code:
1234567^FOO~98787654^BAR Problem: this element isn't parsed as a repeating segment. Here's the transformed message: Code:
<PID.19> <PID.19.1>1234567</PID.19.1> <PID.19.2>FOO~98787654</PID.19.2> <PID.19.3>BAR</PID.19.3> </PID.19> Any ideas on how to get Mirth to treat this field as repeating? Here's the whole message, just in case: Code:
MSH|^~\&|NMI.FOO||||||ADT^A31|||2.1 EVN|A31|||| PID|1|ABC123|ABC00198||MULTIIDTESTER^FRTH^^^^||20040404|M|^^^^^||1234 SOME STREET SW^^FORT^AB^T9J 8M8^||444-000-3333||||||1234567^FOO~98787654^BAR| Last edited by Philoushka; 09-16-2009 at 02:30 PM. |

Go to the source tab for your channel, and under channel tasks, "Edit Filter"
On the far right, click on the Message Templates tab Click the properties button check the option "Handle Repetitions" Your world is now happy |
