Default Custom extensions and the Administrator Launcher

I've been experimenting with the Administrator Launcher version 1.1.0 and have noticed that the cache is not updated if there is a newer version of a custom extension but the version of Mirth Connect is the same. Is this the behaviour you would expect?

Many thanks,
Ed

It should update as long as you're running 3.6.1 or later. The JNLP should have the updated SHA-256 hashes for each JAR, and whatever doesn't match the current JARs in the cache will be re-downloaded. Try downloading the sub-JNLP for your extension manually and look at the hashes, then compute the SHA-256 for the JARs in the cache folder to see if they differ.

If you're on 3.6.0 or earlier then that is expected, because we added the SHA-256 digests for all JNLP resources in 3.6.1.

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

Many thanks for the fast response. I am running 3.4.2, so will look into upgrading to a more recent version.
