Default Problem with destination filter

HI!

I have a very simple channel that monitors a folder for PDF files,

The PDF filenames start with the author name up to an underscore. (eg JOHN_THISISMYPDF.PDF) I make a variable called FOLDER from this author name, (in this case JOHN), create a folder of that name and copy the PDF to that folder, and then delete the original.

This works perfectly and I end up with everyone's PDFs in folders named after the user.

I now want to put a filter on that says only accept if the FOLDER variable = (list of possible user names)

This doesnt work for me, to test it I put two files in a folder, one starting JOHN and one starting JIM - and set a Filter to say only accept if $FOLDER=JIM. Without the filter enabled it acts as it should, creating 2 folders JIM and JOHN and moving the files. With a filter on saying , it doesn't process either file other than to delete it, suggesting to me that the FILTER fails to accept the JIM file.

Any idea what's wrong?

Thanks

Default

Read the file name(JOHN_FileName.pdf) in the filter and take the first index(JOHN)(split file name with _) and put the condition on that.if it true then return true else return false.
