Default localAddress and clientAddress bug

Could you clarify how we should fix
localAddress and clientAddress in the new 3.1 version?

a) change all ${localAddress} to ${???}
change all $("localAddress") to $("???")
change all $('localAddress') to $('???')

b) change all ${clientAddress} to ${???}
change all $("clientAddress") to $("???")
change all $('clientAddress') to $('???')

Assuming you're using the TCP Listener in server mode, the localAddress variable should be remoteAddress, and the clientAddress variable should be localAddress. Same with the ports.

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

- How do I foo?
- You just bar.

Wink Thanks!

Awesome thanks.
I found the easiest way to do this was to edit my backup file and do a
search and replace...
all occurrences of localAddress to remoteAddress one at a time
and then
all occurrences of clientAddress to localAddress one at a time

...but be careful not to replace the XML tags that are used in connectors.

then restore the backup file back into Mirth Connect via the administrator.
