Talking What's the function of "Message Storage"?

What's the different between them?Is it only performance differently?
Can someone tell me what they are used suitably?Thanks for your answer!

The less data stored, the greater your performance. However it also means that depending on the storage level, you lose the ability to do things like queuing, message recovery, etc.

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.
