Default HIPAA X12 5010 Support

I am working with Mirth.

I found that Mirth Supports HIPAA X12 4010 EDI.

Has anyone worked with HIPAA X12 5010 EDI specs with Mirth as I had found it to be non-supportive?

If not, does anyone have a clue, when it will be supported or any workaround?

Thanks for all help in advance. Need it URGENTLY !!

I am also looking into using Mirth for EDI 5010 transactions. How far away is Mirth from supporting EDI 5010?

Thanks

I would consider creating a JIRA feature request if would like to request/track this feature.

Default HIPAA X12 5010 Support

It doesn't look like there's any 5010 Support yet... Any idea on time to delivery? We would also be interested in this.

My understanding is that the format of x12 5010 is the same as 4010 so nothing is preventing you from using Mirth to implement a 5010 interface right now... The vocabulary in the Message Tree will be incorrect but it won't affect the messages and transformations.

The 5010 tree structure would vary from 4010 for new segments, deleted segments, looping, and extended segments for new fields, so a true Mirth 5010 version is needed.

+2 for adding 5010 support to Mirth!
