Default What's the best/usual practise to integerate Mirth connect with NHIN CONNECT?

Hi,

I'm new to Mirth and CONNECT. As the title, I want to know the ususal approach of integerating Mirth and NHIN. From the webinar, the demo I saw was a single way, meaning Mirth request to CONNECT for document. But when I do patient discovery in reverse, from CONNECT into the organization, can Mirth be configured as MPI adapter?

Thank you on any information.
Carl

Yes, you can do this. I have worked a few projects where the adapter forwards the request to Mirth Connect channel which makes the appropriate MPI calls, and sends a response back to the adapter.
