Default Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Error in Mirth

Hi we are having this problem in Production server. we have mirth 3.7.0.b2399 running on open JDK 12 in production server. SQL server 2016 is installed in other server on same domain. Initially when we tried to point mirth to SQL server the error we encountered was: "DB server closed connection" after quick search on forum we replaced the JDBC driver with Microsoft driver (mssql-jdbc-7.4.1.jre12.jar) which resolved the issue and we were able to connect to the SQL server but after couple of weeks we are seeing this error quoting
"Wrapped com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The driver could not establish a secure connection to SQL Server by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)"

When we restart the production server this issue resolve temporarily and after a week we face the same issue.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
