Smile HTTP Sender authentication

Hi,

I am using HTTP Sender transformer to send a JSON message to an external server. It requires Basic authentication. They were put in in the fields. But it looks like the username and password were not put in the header for authentication. If I user header and put Base64 as Authorization, then it works. Any ideas? Thank you for the help!

Not working in Mirth.

Try checking the "Preemptive" box next to where you select Basic. The user guide states:
Quote:
If the Preemptive option is checked, the Authorization header will be sent to the server with the initial request. Otherwise, the header will only be sent when the server requests it.
