Can you verify that you query is actually returning any results?

Does the channel ever show any messages as received? any errors?

The query returned raw data but the output doesn't have transformed data in HL7 format. There is no error. The channel just keep looping until I stop it.

1) Change the source connecter type to database reader.
2) Configure the database reader settings (driver,username,password).
3) In source transformer use the javascript mapper to create a HL7 message.

Use this function to create the hl7 message from the xml

SerializerFactory.getSerializer('HL7V2').fromXML(m essage);

You have to fill the outbound message template with following

MSH|^~\&|||||
