Default Strip DICOM Tag

I'm new to MIRTH but have managed to get the software to work as a DICOM router.

The next step is I need to strip DICOM tag 0028 0030 from the DICOM header before it send to my PACS.

Any help with the transformer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Are you looking for a DICOM dump?

Have you tried in the Destination Transformer to just set it to null or an empty string?

Javscript something like this.
msg['tag00280030'] = '';

Do I need anything else in the script? I get an unterminated string literal error when I try to validate it.

Nope, I ran this through my processor and it updated the tag just fine.

msg['tag00280030'] = 'TESTTESTTEST';

Do you have your inbound and outbound both set as DICOM?

I tried your suggestion and it's not removing or replacing the data in that tag.

You have a message template in your transformer so instead of msg do a tmp.

tmp['tag00280030'] = '';

I ran a dicom file through and it cleared it. I only kept the javascript and removed the mapper you had and it worked then.
