Default Tutorials

Are there any good tutorials or other "how to" materials anywhere? I am trying to get Mirth Connect to do something so I can demonstrate it to my company and get them to buy into it. Then I can get some real training but until then I have to figure out how to get it to do what I want it to do.

Basically what I am trying to do is receive multiple HL7 messages and then output them as a single CSV file and have that file be overwritten/updated upon receipt of any new HL7 messages. I have created a basic channel that receives a message and outputs it as a file but if I send multiple messages it creates a file for each message vs. a single file with all HL7 data.

On the destination, there is a radial box 'File Exists'. Check the Append button.

Thanks, Append is selected. I just figured out what I had done wrong. For anyone else attempting this, Give the file a name, don't use MessageID! I used this because I created the channel using another tutorial and that is what it said to do. If you do that a file is created for each unique message ID! Now I just need to figure out how to create the CSV.

CSV in this case would be a Delimited Text data type, with a column delimiter of , or whatever you choose, and record delimiter of \n.
