Default Why does connect constantly read xercesImpl-2.9.1.jar?

We may chalk this up to not know how the JVM deals with classloading, but I was recently trying to get to the bottom of some performance problems with Connect and noticed that it spent a fair amount of time in ZipFile.getEntry() in some of the thread dumps I was analyzing.

This might be totally normal.

I brought up ProcMon (windows machine) and told it to look for anything mcservice.exe was accessing with an extension of ".jar". For every message, the process reads the daylights out of xercesImpl-2.9.1.jar (Connect 3.4.1, JRE-8 64-bit).

Yeah, I know that HAPI is likely behind this -- but is this much file IO into a jar file, per message, normal? It doesn't seem to do it with any other jar file.
