I'm currently at home logged into the administrator, and connected to a 3.0 instance on my work computer remotely, and it's very fast / snappy. I have not seen any issues with connecting remotely (through a VPN or something like that), in either 2.x or 3.0. Obviously it might be a little less responsive than if you were connected directly via localhost or on a LAN, but that's to be expected.

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

- How do I foo?
- You just bar.

I have also upgrade my testserver from version 2.xx to 3.0. My administrator gui is very slow. sometime's when I throw away the logging then the response is good. But a few seconds later the response is again very slow.

I have cleared the java cache and performance is ok a few seconds after that slow again. When I start the gui on the server itself the performance is also ok.
