Default JMS Reader with hornetq

I have used activemqueue till now. I have configured it as follows:

1.) Create a jndi.properties file for activemqueue and pack it into a jar.
2.) Copy the jndi properties jar file and activemq-all-x.x.x.jar to custon-lib under mirth directory.
3.) Restart mirth server and now the channels works fine.

Is there any other possibility of configuring activequeue with mirth JMS Reader and also is there any possiblity of connecting hornetq with JMS Reader.
I tried the above approach to configure hornetqueue and it fails. But the above steps works fine for activemqueue.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

What version of Mirth Connect are you using?

The JMS Reader is designed to work with any JMS implementation, including HornetQ.

Adding a jndi.properties file isn't always necessary, depending on your situation. If all you need to do is specify the initial context factory, provider URL and queue/topic name, that can be done directly in the JMS Reader settings in Mirth Connect.

HornetQ may need to be configured differently than ActiveMQ. If you could post your channel and jndi.properties file with username/password and any other sensitive data removed, that would be helpful.

Thanks
