Default CCD Document Example.

Can any one provide us a CCD Document example which contains most of the details of the real life CCD document for a patient.

The information contained in the documents available on net is too less and we are not aware what all challenges we will face when we need to encounter a real ccd document.

What tools are you using to convert a CCD xml to a xsd (schema)? Would be appreciated if you can share that.

thank you.

Are you looking for an xsd, or just wondering how to use the standard xsl for display purposes?
If you add the following
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="cda.xsl"?>
to the top of the suzieccd.xml file and have cda.xsl available, it presents fine.
If you are really looking to create a schema, then forget I said anything.

Hi,
Thank you for the sample. Could you please tell how you managed to generate this document from the patient data.

Thanks

I use style sheets to transform Mirths internal XML representaion of HL7 to CCR using a XSLT transformer step. My stylesheet looks like this snip:
<!-- Limit to 3 Insurances -->
<xsl:for-each select="/HL7Message/IN1[position() < 4]">
<!-- START INSURANCES -->
<Payer>
<CCRDataObjectID>PayerRecord<xsl:value-of select="IN1.1/IN1.1.1"/></CCRDataObjectID>
<!-- Effective dates/Exp Dates are NEW -->
<DateTime>
<Type>
<Text>Effective Date</Text>
</Type>
<ExactDateTime>
<xsl:value-of select="IN1.12/IN1.12.1"/>
</ExactDateTime>

You can get the file from the below link
http://xreg2.nist.gov/cda-validation/mu.html

Download the file muValidation20101013.tar.gz. All the schema files related to CCD are in this file.
