Channels in the default group don't show on the dashboard until channel cache is updated

      Description

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Start with a fresh MC instance with no channels or groups (only the empty default group)
      2. Launch two Administrator instances
      3. Make sure both are in Group mode (bottom-right)
      4. Leave one Administrator instance on the dashboard refreshing
      5. On the other Administrator instance, create a new channel in the default group and deploy it
      6. On the first Administrator instance, the newly deployed channel does not show up when it should
