Common Mirth Match Functions
Domain Truncating
If you want to clear a domain in MirthMatch, say because you've purge MirthResults and you want to make sure any patients fed into MM are also purged, you can do the following:
On the Home->Dashboard page, you should see a Task Action in the Action area titled "Truncate Domain". Selecting this option will prompt you to confirm the action.
Once confirmed, a job will be scheduled to the MM Job queue that will remove All Entities from All Identifier Domains contained within the Domain you truncated. A message will appear just above the tabs on the Dashboard with a message to the effect that the job was scheduled. The message will also contain a link to the Job entry itself. Clicking on that link will redirect you to the Job Queue on that particular Job Request.
On that screen you should see in the Job Events somethign like this:
Once the job is Completed, you should be able to go back to the Dashboard and confirm that your Domain population is now 0 entities.
