Default Entity Domain |
The entity domain that is used by default by Mirth Match if no entity domain identifier is passed via the web service calls |

Entity Domain |
The set of all entities whose identifiers should be matched. |
An entity domain might contain all of a system's patients or providers |
Event Log |
The audit log of Mirth Match functions. This contains the list of Mirth Match events that have occurred and the user who executed the event. |

Event Notifications |
Enables a user to subscribe to be notified when specific Mirth Match events occur. |

Identifier Domain |
The set entities who are identified by a common authority |
Suppose we have an Entity Domain that matches Patients. The entity domain would match patients between identifier domains, each of which assigns patients its own identifier (or, local id as it is known in Mirth Match). |

Workitem |
A workitem is created when a potential entity match is found (or, on auto-link when the "create review workitem on auto-link" option on the Entity Domain is checked). The goal of this is to flag possibly related entities for manual linking/merging. |

Create Identifier Domains automatically on Entity Registration |
If an identifier domain with the provided id does not exist when registering or bulk importing, it will be automatically created. Otherwise, an IDENTIFIER_DOMAIN_DOES_NOT_EXIST status condition will be returned. |
