Default Entity Domain

The entity domain that is used by default by Mirth Match if no entity domain identifier is passed via the web service calls

Entity Domain

The set of all entities whose identifiers should be matched.
An Entity Domain contains many Identifier Domains

An entity domain might contain all of a system's patients or providers

Event Log

The audit log of Mirth Match functions. This contains the list of Mirth Match events that have occurred and the user who executed the event.
This is a higher level version of Administration | Security | Audit History, which tracks database-level changes.
To be notified when these events occur, subscribe to an Event Notification

Event Notifications

Enables a user to subscribe to be notified when specific Mirth Match events occur.
New types of notifications can be created by using the Mirth Match Notification Plugin API. Once the plugin has been created, the resulting jar must be put in $MIRTH_MATCH_HOME/plugins and then Mirth Match must be restarted in order for the new notification to be added

Identifier Domain

The set entities who are identified by a common authority

Suppose we have an Entity Domain that matches Patients. The entity domain would match patients between identifier domains, each of which assigns patients its own identifier (or, local id as it is known in Mirth Match).

Source

The source that feeds an entities into an identifier domain

Workitem

A workitem is created when a potential entity match is found (or, on auto-link when the "create review workitem on auto-link" option on the Entity Domain is checked). The goal of this is to flag possibly related entities for manual linking/merging.

Work Queue

Contains the list of workitems

Workitem

Domain Group

Grouping of Identifier Domains

Entity

A thing that we are actually matching, typically represents a patient

Link Score

The matching score at which a Workitem is created for a potential entity match
Important: This value is highly dependent on the matching module. Generally, it is 90% of the Auto-Link Score

Auto-Link Score

The matching score at which entities are assumed to refer to the same patient.
Important: This value is highly dependent on the matching module.

Create Review Workitem on Auto-link

If checked, Workitems will be created to confirm a match for an auto-link.
This feature is helpful when experimenting with different auto-link scores in order to determine a better value

Link Entities asynchronously for faster Entity Registration

Create Identifier Domains automatically on Entity Registration

If an identifier domain with the provided id does not exist when registering or bulk importing, it will be automatically created. Otherwise, an IDENTIFIER_DOMAIN_DOES_NOT_EXIST status condition will be returned.
